INFORMATION

1. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BOOK A SESSION?
Send me an email (info@jenmadigan.com) or give me a call at 319.621.2279 and we can set up a session!

2. WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR NEWBORN PHOTOS?
Newborn sessions ideally need to take place within the first 14 days of life. If you're a planner (like me), send me an email sometime during your pregnancy and we can tentatively schedule a time near your due date.

3. DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
I currently do not have a studio, so sessions will need to take place outdoors or in your home. I always love when my clients suggest locations that mean something to them or their families, so feel free to let me know if you have somewhere in mind!

4. DO YOUR PRICES INCLUDE TRAVEL?
All prices are for sessions within a 30 mile radius of the Iowa City area. Please contact me if you are outside the 30 mile radius for more information.

Session fee + tax is due at the session. I do not require a deposit for newborn, children, or family sessions at this time.

Please arrive on time! This is very important because the session time is chosen based on the light at a certain time of day. Unfortunately sessions can not be extended if you are late, so please be sure to allow extra time for fashion emergencies, and other snags that may occur that day.

If you need to reschedule, you may do so once without charge, however after that a $20 rescheduling fee (due upon rebooking) will be applied. I am aware that we live in Iowa and the weather can be unpredictable at times, so the $20 fee will not be applied to weather related rescheduling.

Sessions last anywhere from 1 to 1/2 hours, but I do allow up to 3 hours for newborn sessions. The session time is not set in stone, as I like the sessions to unfold naturally, especially when children are concerned. Sometimes the session takes a bit less than an hour, sometimes more than an hour and a half depending on the child/family/couple and how long it takes for everyone to warm up to the camera.
